Just pulled this out of the box and I'm instantly transported back to my childhood. It comes pre-loaded with thousands of games and they all run flawlessly without any lag. The transparent purple casing looks amazing and the screen is surprisingly bright.
I bought this for my train rides to work and it's been fantastic. The battery easily lasts for a few days of commuting before needing a charge. It fits perfectly in my jacket pocket and the save-state feature means I never lose my progress when I have to hop off. Love the clear purple look.
A lot of these emulator consoles have mushy D-pads, but this one feels exactly like the original controllers I grew up with. Very clicky and responsive. The shoulder buttons on the back are placed perfectly. Excellent build quality and the see-through purple shell is a great retro touch.
I am not tech-savvy at all, so I was worried about having to download ROMs or configure emulators. Nope! It literally works right out of the box. You just turn it on, pick a system, and start playing. Bought a second one for my brother.
The IPS screen on this little device is gorgeous. The viewing angles are great and the colors really pop on those old arcade games. It also has a really nice aspect ratio that scales the classic games perfectly so they don't look stretched out. The purple aesthetic is just the icing on the cake.
Arrived three days earlier than expected. The packaging was very secure with lots of foam, so the console was in pristine condition. The translucent purple color looks even better in person than it does online. Highly recommend!
